I know i had some of these 3D lenses when i was a little child but how could i know that i will need them in 2008 to watch the new 3D musicvideo by Bjoerk. As long as i don´t get new ones i have to watch the normal version here - but hey...it´s still amazing.

Thats a nice way to react on a bootleg. Stones Throw says: " This was a bootleg mix CD made from audio downloaded at KCRW.com. Madlib did not profit from this CD and did not authorize it. If you would like to download the full 60 min. mix and make your own CD, be our guests:" Get it here

Two pretty good Reggae/Ragga Mixes for free download. The first from the Stuttgart based "Luckypunch Soundsystem": Kingdom of Zion Mix, the second by the swizz soundsystem "Gideon Souldiers": Royal Vibes.

I found this one some months ago and just passed it to a friend and thought why not to put it on my blog as well. Really good mix album by "Shoku & The Gunna", bringing together the legendary soul man Marvin Gaye and Hip Hop grandfather Jay Z. Enjoy!

Lately I was working a lot in front of a nice 22" monitor at a web agency. While working I had a lot of time for listening to new music and discovered Samurai FM which is based in Tokyo and London. Still it´s one of my favorite radio stations on the internet. They have tons of shows from every possible genre. Here are some of my favorite shows:

The Agriculture Blood and Fire DC Recordings Heute : Pop : Morgen Rythm Incursions Tru Thoughts Recordings Ubiquity Records

Slowly I´m getting in love with Netlabels. I concentrated on looking for Dub music and was quite happy with the results.

Afterbeat is a Netlabel from Poland. Half of their releases is Roots-Dub the other half more electronical orientated.

"Id.eology - Label for individual music and visuals" was founded in 2000 and is based in Berlin and Köln, Germany. You definitely feel that they are working since 7 years on that project, lots of releases, great artists and music and a wide range of musical genres. For Dub check out the many releases by Authist & Dub Oneand Disrupt.

Jahtari is a label that is totally concentrated on dub. As they say they are making "digital labtop reggae"but I think the sound they do sounds much better than this. Definitely check it out if you like deep dub with a hint of hip hop beats.

If you´re interested in Netlabels and want to find more or different music go to the "Netlabel Catalogue". Tons of Netlabels wait there to be discovered, it takes some time but it is worthwhile.

I was searching for good but free music for the last month. It is a little bit hard to find good stuff but if you´re patient you could find little gems like these:

"UPITUP (up it up!) is a young and sexy record label that’s based in Rome (Italy), Stuttgart (Germany) and Liverpool (UK). In a world with an over-nourished music industry and its well-rehearsed production machinery, we’ve been releasing free music over the web since March 2003 - just because we can. Doing asides better than what they do for living is our way of stating that a system of copyright, audience economics and marketing strategies is obsolete and just sucks arse." - Text taken from their Website.

Hard to describe their music, what first comes to my mind is the word freaky, but you can hear that they love what they´re doing and it´s definitely worth to open your ears for the unique world of Upitup Records.

"Tim Fite" is doing intelligent good Hip Hop Music...for free, that´s hard to find. He´s signed on "Anti- Records" together with big names like "Blackalicious" or "Tom Waits" but he´s giving away his new Album "Over the counter culture" for free. Get it here.

"Downliners Sekt" make music between Electronica, IDM and Progressive. As they say they are "Bored as fuck with the music industry" so it´s not hard to say why they chose to produce free music. I really love their album "Statement of Purpose". It is a solid piece of good music that is hard to find generally, not only for free. So don´t wait and get it here.
