Again skateboarding...but this one is so good i have to post it. Transworld Skateboarding started an event called "Skate & Create". Four teams had the chance to build their obstacles to produce unique pictures and footage in nine days in an old warehouse. DVS, GLOBE, OSIRIS and EMERICA were the Teams and all of them did a fantastic job! Creative and beautiful filming in a way you won´t see it normally! See the clips here: DVS (The winner) - OSIRIS - EMERICA - GLOBE

One more free skate-movie from the zürich based skateboard company "The 5th district". A 500MB file, so i am still waiting right now but can´t wait to see it! Get it here.

I really would love to see the movie "Beautiful Losers"! Here is the Synopsis take from their website:

"BEAUTIFUL LOSERS celebrates the spirit behind one of the most influential cultural moments of a generation

In the early 1990's a loose-knit group of likeminded outsiders found common ground at a little NYC storefront gallery. Rooted in the DIY (do-it-yourself) subcultures of skateboarding, surf, punk, hip hop & graffiti, they made art that reflected the lifestyles they led. Developing their craft with almost no influence from the "establishment" art world, this group, and the subcultures they sprang from, have now become a movement that has been transforming pop culture.

Starring a selection of artists who are considered leaders within this culture, Beautiful Losers focuses on the telling of personal stories. It speaks to themes of what happens when the outside becomes "in" as it explores the creative ethos connecting these artists and today's youth."

Featured artists are Ed Templeton, Shepard Fairey, Thomas Campbell and many more! Hope it comes to europe soon.

A few weeks ago I was talking to a friend who stays in Bali right now. He told me about the Ghost Ship that ran aground at Padang Padang, one of the most famous surfspots you can find in Indonesia. Today I found this nice article with photos from Jason Childs and a voiceover by Rizal Tajung

The Australian Surf/Skate company Insight has a great new campaign called "Dopamine". You can find one skate- and one surfmovie, a trailer and some pictures of the posters they did for the campaign. The skate-clip was filmed in Bali/Indonesia what makes it pretty interesting for all of you who went there for surfing. Why Dopamine you may ask..here you have their answer: "When you are attracted to someone your brain releases the drug dopamine giving the same reaction that one gets from thrill seeking, sex, music, humanitarianism, surfing and skating to name a few." - Dopamine and Insight website.

My first visit to the "Kitsune Noir" side is about one year ago. Back then the Kitsune Noir Wallpaper Project just had started, right now there are nearly 30 great Desktop Wallpapers in different resolutions and for PSP and I Phone as well. So if you need a new inspiring background go here!

"Ghostly Swim" is a fantastic compilation by Ghostly International featuring great artists like Dabrye, Michna, Mux Mool and many more. 19 Tracks - 68min of good music - get it here for free.

Really nice musicvideo by director Luis Briceno and a great hommage to the art-film-classic "Der Lauf der Dinge" from 1987 by Peter Fischli and David Weiss.
