It´s beginning of June now and we are about finishing filming for this season. Now the editing, color correction, sound check, skating, surfing and barbecue time begins, so...have a nice summer!!!

End of April the days of fresh snow and backcountry shooting were finally over. I went to Kaunertal and Hintertux to do some park shooting with Matevz and Doman. Weather and atmosphere were really good and the park at Hintertux was in fresh shape.

Mid of April we had some quite good sessions at Kitzsteinhorn! On the picture you see Matevz doing a huge FS9. We had to be very patient this year because of the weather. Building the kicker for one day...then waiting some days because the weather was bad...then building it again, but not shooting because of windy conditions...and so on...but in the end we did all the kickers we wanted to do and left Kitzsteinhorn with another few minutes of fresh footage.

After two days of building a huge kicker in a closed resort near the town Lofer/Austria we had a crazy session. Three riders, nine jumbs, no slam at all and five good shots. Two days building and one hour riding...

After waiting again for good weather we went to Flachauwinkl once again and tried to get some shots at this gap-kicker. Woidl got one, Simon two shots but after all we expected more although it was a good feeling to film in backcountry while at the same time a load of riders took part at the Spring Battle competition.

Finally the last day at Grindelwald went out pretty well. The corner worked and everyone was happy due to this good ending. From Grindelwald I went straight to Davos while the other guys went to the Playboard Stylesession at Meiringen. In Davos I met Woidl, Migl and Simon.

We had a really good week there, fresh powder, perfect conditions, sunshine and all of as were in high spirits. One of the best week so far for me.

While a Part of the crew was in Grindelwald for the Munchie Week, some of us stayed in good old Austria. The Snow and Weather Conditions were quite similar to Switzerland, and we had to wait several days to catch the sun. Finally we had a funny spot and stomped some tricks. After some very poor filming days, this was a long expected reward and a nice experience which motivates us for the upcoming trips to Davos and the Playboard Style Session in Meiringen.See ya in Switzerland

The last week we were in Grindelwald where this years Munchie Magazine week took place. Again we had pretty bad luck with the conditions. Rain up to 2000m, storm for 2 days and just 2 sunny days.

So again it was more about doing something creative than to do serious jumbs. But when you have to be creative funny things can happen so we build a tunnel jumb which was a lot of fun to ride. Perhaps thats the next big thing in snowboarding: Tunnel...or better... Tube riding.

Tomorrow we will do a cornerjumb that we build two days long. Hopefully we will get some serious jumbs there! After that the crew will divide to push along Meiringen and Davos.
